In Canada, Ken and I inhale the new drug: Thriving Ivory. No, it isn't Cocaine, Speed or anything you snort. However, it is just as addicting. Nestled in the heart of Vancouver, B.C., littered with bums begging for money, there is a little pub called, "The Plaza." Arriving inside the trendy bar, I anticipate the excitement of my favorite song playing live. Noticing movement up on the stage, my heart pounds as the lead singer offers his incredible voice. He captivates the audience with his sexy dance moves straight out of a 1980's music video. The show completes with a meet and greet with the band.
Shaking with nervousness, I embrace my new medicine by telling him his voice is beautiful. He goes behind the bar returning with a shirt. Signing his autograph, I fall limp and drift into a drug-induce state. This was the first time Thriving Ivory played in Canada.
